Undergraduate Freshmen

If you want to apply for full undergraduate admission, then you must submit the following items:

You must submit a letter from your sponsor's bank.  This letter must show your current balance and prove that you have at least $17,800.00 USD to pay for your first year of study.  The letter must be signed and certified by a bank official.  You will be responsible for maintaining this level of support because there is little to no financial assistance available to international students through the university.
You must submit all of your official educational records in both your native language and English.  Copies of documents certified by appropriate school officials are also accepted.  Notarized copies are not accepted as official documents.

If this will be your first year of university level study then you must submit your complete secondary school transcripts, which must include your final grades or marks.  To be admitted to UCA you must have the equivalent of a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 on a 4 point scale.

You must also send certified copies of your Diploma or Certificate of Graduation.

If you received your secondary education in a country in Africa, then you must also submit either your Baccalaureate scores or your WAEC results.
You must submit an official Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 500 (paper-based test), 173 (computer-based test), or 61 (internet-based test).  We will also accept an IELTS score of 6.0.

If this will be your first year of university level study, you may also submit an official ACT score of 19 or SAT score of 470 on the English portion of the exams.  This will exempt you from having to take the TOEFL.
