Annual Foreign Culture Festival

The Humanities and World Cultures Institute organizes an annual festival celebrating a select foreign culture.

Annual Humanities Fair for High School Students

Supported by generous grants from the UCA Foundation and the Gladys Krieble Delmas Foundation, the Humanities and World Cultures Institute annually brings gifted high school students to campus for a day-long Humanities Fair. Students attend workshops conducted by UCA faculty on announced topics on which the students have written essays.

Education Programs

In keeping with its historic mission as the Arkansas state normal school, UCA has charged the Humanities and World Cultures Institute with developing programs to assist elementary and secondary school teachers further extend the global content of their classes.
