Named Endowment Program

The unique aspect about the UCA Endowment Program is that your original gift is protected which in turn means that the gift is perpetual. Only the income from your gift will be used to support your area of choice. Most endowments are related to scholarships, faculty development and enhancement, support for academic and non-academic programs or any other area you choose.

The minimum amount required for establishment of an endowment is $10,000. The following minimum amounts establish specific endowments:

• Annual prize or award
  $10,000
• Scholarship
  $25,000
  
• Named Lectureship
  $250,000
  
• Named Professorship
  $500,000
  
• Named Chair
  $1,000,000

An endowed gift of $25,000 or more will receive special recognition with a customized plaque placed on the UCA Donor Wall.

The minimum levels for named endowments may be inclusive of any matching grants from a private or public funding source. For example, if a 50/50 match is available, the minimum private contribution for establishment of a chair would be $500,000.
